Changes for Summer Worship
Summer is fast approaching, and many of us are already busy planning trips, events with family and friends, and looking forward to a more relaxed routine. With that in mind, St. Paul will have a modified summer worship schedule for June, July and August.
On the first weekend of June (June 1), July (July 6) and August (Aug. 3), we will worship together at one service on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM, followed by a time of fellowship and a potluck lunch in the Lighthouse. On the remaining weekends in June, July and August, we will follow our regular worship service schedule with services on Saturday evening at 7:00 PM and Sunday morning at 9:00 AM and 11:05 AM.
This summer schedule will provide us with an opportunity once a month to worship and fellowship with members that we don’t normally see because they attend a different service and, also, allow us to most efficiently schedule volunteers that help with worship. Church Council discussed this idea at length and voted to adopt this worship schedule for this summer.
So, mark your calendars and plan to join us on first Sundays after worship for some fellowship, fun and food. If you have any questions, please contact Kay Wesson at 713-851-6282 or any other Church Council member.

BLAST stands for Believing, Living And Sharing Truth. Students in preschool through high school meet once a week on Wednesdays for a meal & fellowship followed by Christian education classes customized to their age. Our goal is to help students develop an understanding of the Bible, the life & teachings of Jesus Christ, as well as build lasting relationships with other students & teachers and learn how to respect & love all people. We hope students come a way from BLAST with a personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.
