Neighbor to Neighbor

Neighbor-to-Neighbor usually meets quarterly in the church library at 1:30 PM on the third Wednesday. The next meeting will be Wednesday, February 5, 2025. We will discuss Valentine's gifts.

"Feed my Sheep" - Fresh Produce Ministry

"Feed My Sheep" - Fresh Produce Ministry

We are working with The Common Market, which is a non-profit group that represents farmers who donate fresh produce and is distributed to different areas every two weeks. We are starting out by receiving 70 boxes of fresh produce to distribute, and then, as we see the need, it could go up from there. The produce will be delivered and distributed on Mondays.

Volunteers are needed to help with distribution, which will be 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Lighthouse. A sign-up sheet is located in the narthex if you are interested in

helping.

March 3, 17 and 31

We continue to grow, and where we see the need, we meet the need. We are now serving 140 families every two weeks. Sign up in the narthex or call the church office to get involved in this exciting and beneficial ministry to our community. Please contact Kay Wesson (713-851-6282) if you have any questions.

Senior Explorer Trip!

The Senior Explorers are Going Underground!
Join us on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 as we explore the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. The Cistern is a former drinking water reservoir built in 1926 for the City of Houston. Following our tour, we will head to the Houston Aquarium for lunch.
We will depart St. Paul Lutheran Church at 10:00 AM and return by 3:30 PM. The cost of the tour is $12 for seniors 65 and older and $15 for others. We will need to purchase tickets in advance, so please sign up in the narthex by Sunday, February 9, 2025.

Next Peru Team Meeting

Our next Peru Team meeting will be Thursday, February 13 at 6:00 PM in the church library.

Grief Support Group

The Grief Support Group is for anyone who has lost a loved one, either recently or a few years ago. We share and support each other. Come join us and get support from others walking this journey. We meet at 5:30 PM in the youth room (formerly the choir room) the third Thursday of the month. Our next meeting will be Thursdav, February 20, 2025. Bus and/or Van Drivers Needed

Hi, church family! Anyone interested in joining our Bus/Van Driving Team? You could help get people and families to worship service, to B.L.A.S.T or to the store. We hope to be transporting some families each Wednesday evening and Sunday mid-morning thru December. Only local short trips at this time, and only when it fits your schedule.
